Products

Below are some common questions about our products

Are the Containers BPA free?

Yes, all our containers are BPA free, made from Eastman Tritan.

Are the containers Dishwasher Safe?

Yes — Tritan is dishwasher safe.

However, we recommend using a low-temperature or “eco” dishwasher setting.

Why?

Tritan is a high-performance, BPA-free material that can handle daily dishwashing.

But dishwashers vary a lot, and some can reach extremely high temperatures (especially in “sanitize,” “steam,” or “extra-hot dry” modes). These extreme settings can:

  • reduce the long-term clarity of Tritan
  • shorten the lifespan of the material
  • cause slight warping over many cycles

Are the containers microwave safe?

Yes — the material used for our containers - Tritan - is microwave safe, but there are a few important guidelines to protect the material and ensure safe heating.

How to use Tritan in the microwave properly:

  • Use medium heat only — avoid high-power microwave settings.
  • Heat in short intervals (30–60 seconds), especially for liquids.
  • Remove the lid or leave it slightly open to let steam escape.
  • Avoid microwaving oils or very fatty foods at high heat — these can exceed the safe temperature range of Tritan faster than water-based foods.
  • Do not microwave empty containers, as this can cause overheating.

Why these precautions?

Tritan can handle typical microwave temperatures, but very high heat points (especially from oils or steam pressure) may:

  • reduce clarity over time
  • cause stress on the container
  • shorten material lifespan
